FNB Field is home to the Harrisburg Senators, the Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. The stadium is uniquely situated on a 63-acre island in the middle of the Susquehanna River. If you haven’t caught a Susquehanna sunset from the cheap seats in left field or a boardwalk barstool, put it on your bucket list. A pedestrian-only walking bridge connects City Island to Riverfront Park and Downtown Harrisburg, giving fans easy access to explore more of Harrisburg on gamedays.
A long list of minor-leaguers-turned-MLB sensations get their start here in Harrisburg. Huge names like Bryce Harper, Steven Strasburg, and Juan Soto played here before heading to the Big Show, and stars sometimes come back to Harrisburg for brief injury rehab assignments.
Did You Know? The FNB Field is home to the one and only life size bobblehead Hall of Fame.
Wet Nose Wednesdays. Because doggos love baseball. Thirsty Thursdays. Because – baseball & beer. Fireworks Fridays. Who doesn’t love a cuddly blue river monster? Rascal loves meeting fans and has been cheering on cheering on the Senators every season since 1998. Rascal roams beyond the stadium for community appearances and parades. He’s even been known to make special deliveries for Valentine’s Day messages. Who knew river monsters were such romantics?
In addition to baseball, there are special events FNB Field and across City Island throughout the year. From 5Ks to holiday festivals and from movie nights to beer festivals, stay up to date by checking our Calendar of Events.
