Harrisburg Beer Week
Cheers along with the capital city at Harrisburg Beer Week, April 26 to May 5, 2019. This 10-day, multi-venue celebration showcases the creative power and flavor of our breweries through craft beer tastings, food and brew pairings, demonstrations, and festivals. If you’re doing the math, 10 days is more than one week, but can you blame us?
Visit Harrisburg Beer Week’s website for a complete and ongoing list of brewski-themed activities throughout the city. Here’s a flight of festivities to get you started:
Proceeds from Harrisburg Beer Week benefit the Harrisburg River Rescue & Emergency Services, a 100% volunteer crew and Pennsylvania’s first water search & rescue organization.
If you can’t make it to Harrisburg Beer Week, save the date for Dauphin County BrewFest, July 20 at Fort Hunter Mansion & Park in Harrisburg.
Meet Our Breweries
Learn a little more about our region’s craft beer scene from the experts who put passion, creativity, and instinct into making batches of frothy brews. Their individual backgrounds, personalities, and palates for beer make each brewery visit a unique experience.
This Hershey brewery is our region’s largest, and Tröegs is known up and down the East Coast for their bold and adventurous beers. In addition to their beloved flagship brews, Tröegs has seasonal releases that make the most of the hop cycle and fresh ingredients and keep fans thirsty all year round. A visit wouldn’t be complete without a brewery tour, ranked as one of the top 5 brew tours in the nation by USA Today.
Zeroday – a term used by through-hikers to signal a day of relaxation and recovery – is a place where you can kick back with your friends and sample some truly interesting craft beers. From their flagship beers like the spicy/refreshing Mango Hab to limited release and special series brews with hilarious descriptions (Firehouse IPA. Hobbies: Saving cats from trees, Dalmatians, and Pole Sliding), head to Midtown Harrisburg and sip like a local.
