Rick and Jeff, the owners of The Englewood, have long had a love for playing music and are members in the same band. A shared dream of creating a music venue with amazing sound quality here in the Hershey Harrisburg region and jokingly, one that would always book their band, became a reality in 2020 when they opened the doors to The Englewood.
Designed as a music venue with a seated dining experience that would provide an intimate experience with the band, the main listening room seats 250 and can accommodate 400 if people are standing. There is cushioned bench seating and table seating on the main floor, plus additional table seating in an upper mezzanine. The space was created with the vision to provide a place for bands to play that would fall, space and experience-wise, between a dive bar venue and a larger concert venue. A wide range of genres and bands perform on the stage, from Americana to alternative to alt-country to jazz and more! The popular Sunday Jazz Brunch is reservation-based.
