ZooAmerica® North American Wildlife Park is home to more than 200 animals and admission is included with your Hersheypark ticket. Visitors can enjoy this 11-acre, walk-through zoo that span five themed regions of North America (Eastern Woodlands, Great Southwest, Southern Swamps, Big Sky Country, and Northlands). A few of the zoo’s inhabitants include black bears, elk, owls, wolves, mountain lions, otters, reptiles, and birds. Upgrade to a behind-the-scenes tour for an interactive experience with a few of the friendly residents at ZooAmerica.
Hersheypark is open daily in the summer and weekends in September (see additional seasons below). Hersheypark sees thousands of smiling faces every day, but if you’d prefer to avoid the crowds, visit on a weekday (Mon. – Thurs.) or a Sunday. The gates open at 10 AM to a rush of eager riders, but you can try a 2-3 PM arrival when most of those early birds are on their way home. When the Park is open until 10 PM most days, you’ve got plenty of time to ride!
