Danielle Vincenti Named Executive Director of Hershey Harrisburg Sports & Events Authority
Sports tourism industry veteran to lead regional sports and events development, partnership growth and destination strategy

HARRISBURG, PA – Visit Hershey & Harrisburg has named Danielle Vincenti, STS, Executive Director of the Hershey Harrisburg Sports & Events Authority (HHSE), the organization’s dedicated sports and special events division. In her new role, Vincenti will lead the region’s efforts to attract, develop and grow sporting events and special events that generate overnight stays, visitor spending and economic impact throughout Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
Vincenti joined HHSE in 2022 as Director of Business Development, where she led event recruitment and development initiatives, cultivated relationships with event organizers and industry partners, and identified opportunities to expand the region’s sports tourism portfolio. Her promotion reflects her continued leadership in advancing the destination’s position within the competitive sports tourism industry.

With more than 16 years of experience in sports tourism, destination marketing and event development, Vincenti brings a broad industry perspective and an established network of destination and event partners to the role. In addition to her leadership at HHSE, Vincenti serves as Chair of PA Sports, a statewide alliance of sports commissions and destination organizations working to advance sports tourism throughout Pennsylvania. In this capacity, she collaborates with destinations and industry leaders across the Commonwealth on advocacy, marketing opportunities and initiatives that strengthen Pennsylvania’s competitiveness as a sports destination.

As HHSE’s Executive Director, Vincenti will focus on strengthening relationships with event rights holders, sports organizations, facilities and community partners while pursuing opportunities that align with the region’s venues, hospitality infrastructure and destination assets. HHSE works year-round to attract tournaments and events across a range of sports, age groups and interests, connecting event organizers with the resources and partnerships needed to deliver successful experiences.
Located in south-central Pennsylvania, the Hershey Harrisburg Region offers a combination of sports facilities, hospitality infrastructure and destination attractions, with convenient access to major population centers throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Through HHSE, Visit Hershey & Harrisburg continues to pursue opportunities to bring new events to the region while supporting the long-term growth of sports tourism and its economic contribution to Dauphin County.
