Memorial Lake Fishing Features Adventure Trail

Whether fishing activities fill your entire itinerary or account for just a piece of the trip, Memorial Lake at Memorial State Park is a great option to spend some time on or by the water. The park is surrounded by Fort Indiantown Gap and was established in memory and honor of Pennsylvania National Guard soldiers who served in World War I and World War II.

Fish in any season, as both sunny skies and icy days present an opportunity to cast a line on the lake. Common game fish in this warmwater fishery include largemouth bass, muskellunge, northern pike, yellow perch, white crappie, black crappie, bullhead, channel catfish, carp, sucker, trout, and various species of panfish.

Boaters will find two launches but note that gas-powered boats are prohibited and a current registration and/or launch permit is required.

Enjoy other activities like hiking, picnicking, cross-country skiing, and ice skating at the park as well.
