MISSION

Our mission is to promote the Hershey Harrisburg region as the ultimate destination to hold sports and entertainment events. We support event organizers with bid development, venue procurement, grants, hotel & transportation coordination, PR & marketing support, and more to ensure successful events that maximize economic development within Dauphin and Perry counties.

Hershey Harrisburg Sports & Events Authority is a division of Visit Hershey & Harrisburg, the official non-profit partnership-based Destination Marketing Organization serving Dauphin & Perry Counties. Visit Hershey & Harrisburg is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales, marketing, and communication programs to compete for leisure, business, group, and sporting event travel market segments among leading and national destinations. 

PROVEN SUCCESS

We have more than a decade of experience forging strong partnerships between event organizers and venues to ensure a successful event. We've hosted a wide variety of tournaments and shows over the years, and some of the best have come back for seconds and thirds! A few examples include:

• U.S. Figure Skating Eastern Sectional Synchronized Skating Championship (2012, 2014, 2017, 2025) 
• AHL Outdoor Classic (2013, *2018)
• State Games of America (2013)
• Mecum Auto Auction (Annually: 2014 - present)
• Great American Outdoor Show (Annually: 2014 - present)
• Multiple annual PIAA State Championships
