I have sold my stand in the Fresh Market, and my last day will be Saturday, April 27th. Please come out and celebrate with me and see what specials I will have that day. The sale was for only the physical stand and equipment, not Kimchee Girl. The new owners of the stand will bring their own wonderful food recipes.
Wondering why I sold my stand? It's because my main goal has always been getting jars of Kimchee Girl on the grocery store shelves. And I'm thrilled to announce that GIANT has picked up the Kimchee Girl line of kimchee. So, starting late Summer/Fall, you will be able to find Kimchee Girl at GIANT Stores around Central PA, making it more accessible for you.
Rest assured, you will still see Kimchee Girl selling Korean BBQ at some pop-ups, outdoor markets and festivals around the area. So, please follow @thekimcheegirl on social media to stay updated on where you can grab Kimchee Girl Korean BBQ, ensuring you never miss out on your favorite flavors.
I want to thank the Hershey community for supporting Kimchee Girl. I will miss seeing all your faces on a weekly basis; that will be the toughest part about not being in the Market.

Kimchee Girl in Hershey Pennsylvania shows Steve Ford, from Apple TV's show "Stuffed with Steve Ford" how to make Kimchee and feeds Steve authentic Korean food.
Steve stopped by the Fresh Market at Hershey Towne Square to visit with Joyce. If you know Joyce... while Steve was at the Kimchee Girl Korean BBQ stand, she feed him.
Then Joyce enlisted Steve's help to make her authentic Korean kimchee.

My medium spicy kimchee is handmade using my parents' recipe that they brought with them from South Korea. I use the vegetables prepared with my mom and dad's secret mixture of hot pepper flake, garlic, green onion, just the right amount of salt and ginger, and a pinch of sugar to help the fermentation process.
