This program is made available for investing partners of Visit Hershey & Harrisburg only. (Partnership applications are available year-round. Upon designation of your investing partner status, your business is eligible to participate.)
We have secured three (3) billboard locations in high-traffic areas. Route 581 @ Interstate 83, Interstate 83 (exit 43 Northbound 2nd Street) and 322/422 Eastbound between Harrisburg and Hershey. Ads will run for four-week intervals.
The overall cost for digital billboard ads is approximately $4,800 (per billboard per 4-week run.) HHRVB will pay 50%. Total cost to partners is $2,400 per digital billboard per month. This includes design and placement of digital boards. (NOTE: Due to production and media costs, there will be a different pricing structure in place for STATIC billboards when they are introduced in 2016.)
Inventory for this program is limited, and we anticipate significant demand. All requests must be submitted with required content, including images/logos, business name, and Call-to-Action (CTA) text. Requests must be submitted via the web form. Email requests will not be accepted.
It is our mission to assist as many Partners as possible with the Co-Op program. Multiple months will only be considered once all partners have had the opportunity to participate.
For Partners who are interested in multiple-month billboard ads, in 2016 we will be unveiling the opportunity to purchase static billboards. Stay tuned for more information!
Ad requests are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Assuming billboard space is available at the time of your request, invoices will be sent after receipt of completed request form, and Visit Hershey & Harrisburg approval. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date.
Note: Forms that do not have the required information (image, logo, etc.) are not considered complete, and will be withheld from consideration until complete information is received.
Each billboard option is located in a prime, high-traffic area. Billboard location selection will be at the discretion of Visit Hershey & Harrisburg and external media partners. We are unable to accept requests for specific locations.
The template for the Co-Op billboard program allows for a single image, logo and Call-To-Action (example: website address.) Therefore, we are unable to accommodate multiple businesses on the same billboard.
No. Funds provided by Visit Hershey & Harrisburg via the Marketing Assistance program may not be used for payment of the Co-Op program.
All boards will be co-branded with Visit Hershey & Harrisburg, therefore, we cannot accept completed billboard designs for this program.
Billboards are full-sized “bulletin” boards which are 14 x 48 feet.
Initially, only digital billboards will be included in the program, however we anticipate the inclusion of static boards in the future.
Yes, you will have the opportunity to proof the design, however, timelines are very tight and allow for only one revision if necessary. To ensure brand integrity, final designs are at the discretion of Visit Hershey & Harrisburg. Changes in design after the first revision will result in additional costs to Partners and decreased run time.
We will evaluate the program to determine if modifications are necessary. This may include costs, locations, creative elements, etc.
