THE PRESBYBOP QUINTET

The best-known group of musicians playing "sacred jazz" in the United States was formed in 1993 by jazz pianist Bill Carter, a Presbyterian minister. This consort of New York-based professionals has toured the country extensively, presenting concert and jazz worship services. This event takes place in the historic sanctuary of Market Square Church with its recently enhanced acoustics. Free parking is provided by the church in the adjacent and connected Market Square Garage. Enter the church from the first full level of the garage. Walkers may use the Second Street Event Entrance. The church is fully accessible.
