Salute to Service: House Members in the Military

The House Archives is excited to be opening a new exhibit this January honoring veterans. Learn more about former House Members who served in the military. Especially unique to this exhibit is the display of current and former Member uniforms from various branches of the military. All major American military conflicts are featured, from the American Revolution to modern day Middle Eastern conflicts. Visitors will be able to learn more about certain conflicts thru a continuous running video on these events but also features first-hand accounts of former Members and their experiences in the service from the House Archives oral history project. As America is on the eve of its 250th birthday, visit the House Archives "Salute to Service" exhibit to immerse yourself in history.
