On Sunday, July 13, 4 PM at Market Square Presbyterian Church, MSC Summermusic 2025 will open with two deeply personal works inspired by love and loss. Max Bruch’s collection of miniatures dedicated to his son, and an emotionally charged Horn Trio by Brahms created shortly after the loss of his mother, show how composers’ closest relationships inspire some of the most original, richly nuanced and moving masterpieces. Our directors, violinist PETER SIROTIN and pianist YA-TING CHANG will be joined by ELIAS GOLDSTEIN on viola and SARA CYRUS on French horn for this program.
Single tickets are $35, $30 for seniors, $5 for college students and FREE for K-12 school-age students with a $10 ticket available for one accompanying adult. For tickets, please call 717 221-9599, at https://mscsm251.eventbrite.com or https://www.marketsquareconcerts.org/summermusic2025 or email akoch@marketsquareconcerts.org .
We hope you will join us for an afternoon of heart-warming music from the late Romanticism.
