Want more wildlife, more secluded lush river islands, and more challenging riffles? Our 7-mile float is all that and more. We’ll shuttle you from the Susquehanna Outfitters to historic Fort Hunter Park, where we will shove off near the Susquehanna Statue of Liberty in the background framed by the famous Dauphin Narrows. You’ll be rewarded with a wildlife experience you’ll never forget as we float passed Wade Island… great egrets, black-crowned night herons, and cormorants make their home here for a short time. There are also bald eagles, ospreys, and so much more so make sure you bring your binoculars!

Cruise under the longest stone arch railroad bridge in the world and feel the excitement of the swift riffles above and below the bridge. Nothing death-defying, just fun! This trip is rated moderate but still appropriate for ambitious beginners.
