AKC All-breed Conformation Shows
The Harrisburg Kennel Club (HKC) is an American Kennel Club (AKC) licensed member club, approved to hold AKC all-breed conformation shows, along with other events.
We hold two conformation all-breed dog shows each year in April as part of the FIVE-DAY Blue & Gray Cluster.
Each day will feature an AKC sanctioned all-breed dog show with 201 different AKC breeds of dogs competing in conformation competition. Conformation judging is based on the dog’s appearance as to how well the judge feels each individual dog fits the standard, (description), for its breed.
The cluster is held at the PA Farm Show Complex,
Giant Expo Hall, 2300 N. Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA.
Our Harrisburg KC shows are held on the Wednesday and Saturday during this cluster.
