100 Years of Women

This exhibit will feature women from across the Commonwealth who served in the House of Representatives. Learn about the first 8 women of the House, the first women of color to serve, and more about women’s suffrage movements in Pennsylvania. Highlights include suffrage-themed sheet music and valentine cards on loan from Madlyn L. Hanes Library, Archives and Special Collections at Penn State Harrisburg, and suffragette-era outfits from the Fashion Archives and Museum at Shippensburg University.
