Mecum Auctions rolls into Harrisburg, drawing thousands of car lovers and dreamers, and pulling in $20 million in sales. The Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center transforms into a high octane, high stakes auction block with nationally televised coverage of all the action featuring 1,000 cars, plus vintage and collector motorcycles and tractors.
Vintage Finds
One of the nation’s largest antique auto shows and flea markets sprawls across Hershey for four days in October, transforming the town into an automotive wonderland. Since 1955, the Eastern Division AACA National Fall Meet has been one of the region’s most anticipated events in any category. Rare parts. Meticulously rebuilt engines. Machines that have defied time. It’s impossible to imagine the scope of 9,000+ flea market spaces, 1,000 car corral spaces and 1,500+ show cars and motorcycles until you’ve seen it for yourself.
Take a Sunday drive through time at the AACA Museum, browsing three floors of car exhibits. Their oldest autos came off the line in the 1890s, and their impressive and expansive stock includes buses, trucks, motorcycles and thousands of memorabilia items.
