WorkPlay, PA (Hershey Harrisburg Region) – The Hershey Harrisburg Regional Visitors Bureau (HHRVB) announced today the 2nd Annual NCAA Wrestle for a Cure Duals returns to the Hershey Harrisburg region Saturday, November 12 from 9am – 9pm in the large arena of the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center. Tickets for the single day event are $15 for adults and $6 for youth 12 and under. This invitational tournament will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Central Pennsylvania.
There will be 28 collegiate programs and high school and clubs wrestling on eight mats, up from four in 2010. Each team will wrestle three (3) times over six (6) rounds beginning at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm. This tournament is being produced by Wrestle for a Cure, Inc. (W4AC), a non-profit organization founded in 2009 to promote the advancement of charitable giving through the sport of wrestling. Wrestle for a Cure produces Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling tournaments and events for the benefit of charity. The 2011 tournament is sponsored by reGen Muscle Recovery Beverage.
