Hersheypark Christmas Candylane

The magic of the holidays comes to life at Hersheypark Christmas Candylane, where the Park is transformed into a delightful holiday village with more than 30 rides, Santa and his nine live reindeer, live entertainment, games, shops and food.

Hershey Sweet Lights

November 16 - December 29

A winter wonderland awaits at Hershey Sweet Lights, a holiday drive-thru spectacular. Guests drive along a 2.3 mile route through a wooded hillside to enjoy nearly 600 themed light displays, all while listening to the sounds of the season through a customized radio broadcast.

Hershey®’s Chocolate World®  

November 16 – December 23

Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction will host the fourth annual Hershey’s Holiday Chocolate House, a life-sized house completely covered in Hershey’s famous chocolate and confectionery products. Guests can also attend an interactive and entertaining breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The Christmas Adventure Tour by Hershey Trolley Works

November 16 - December 29

All the magic of the season unfolds as two actors bring the story of Hershey to life with a Christmas twist on this 35-minute trolley tour. There’s caroling, jingling and even a visit from a certain jolly old elf who has presents for everyone on the nice list.

Spectacular Christmas Celebration at the AACA Museum for Kids from 1-92!

November 16 - January 6

All aboard!  Trains, trains and more trains will be running all over the Museum! The Roads to Rails train display will again feature Thomas the Tank Engine, a family favorite. Galleries of the AACA Museum will be transformed into a spectacular winter wonderland featuring Christmas trees through the ages adorned with period decorations.

Little Elves Workshop at the Hershey Story

November 17 – 25; December 1 - January 1

At the Little Elves Workshop, hosted by the Hershey Story, kids will enjoy holiday fun with vintage toys, learn cookie-making techniques and make a unique ornament to be used as a gift or a keepsake.

Rejuvenate During the Holidays at The Spa At The Hotel Hershey

November 19 - January 31

The Spa At The Hotel Hershey takes part in the seasonal celebration by offering several peppermint-themed holiday Spa treatments. Through the entire month of December, guests can also enjoy the Spa’s popular “Holiday Season Sampler,” featuring three treatments wrapped into one relaxing experience.

A Holiday Dinner Musical at Hershey Lodge

November 23 - December 28

The stage is set in the Great American Hall at Hershey Lodge for an interactive Christmas In Chocolate Town, “A Holiday Dinner Musical.” At the start of the show you’ll meet Mayor Herschel Sugarman, your guide through a multi-course celebration of the traditions of Christmas, while a talented cast entertains you with spirited song and dance performances.

“Kids Only” Holiday Shop at Fort Hunter

November 24 - December 15

Kids age 12 and under can shop by themselves for family and friends or with the guidance of Santa’s helpers, who will assist youngsters in picking out tasteful and unique items. Gifts are available for all ages and priced under $10.

Christmas in the 1860’s Comes to Life at The National Civil War Museum

November 24

For the 12th year, the Victorian Dance Ensemble, the performing troupe of the Civil War Dance Foundation, will bring Christmas in the 1860s to life at The National Civil War Museum. Guests of the event will also have an opportunity to try on reproduction Civil War and Victorian clothing, and musicians will play and sing period Christmas carols.

Toy Train Exhibit at Fort Hunter

November 25 - December 16

Who doesn’t love a toy train display? The Keystone Model Railroad Historical Society will exhibit HO gauge trains in a layout that can be viewed from all sides. Old and new trains will be displayed each week and for the annual visitor, exciting new additions are made each year.

Pennsylvania Christmas Craft & Gift Show at the PA Farm Show Complex

Thousands come from all over the Northeast to visit The Pennsylvania Christmas & Gift Show, a festive celebration of the season’s finest decorations, arts and crafts, cuisines and musical and dance groups.

Christkindlmarkt Holiday Market & Festival Held at The Hershey Story Museum

December 1 and 2

In celebration of its Pennsylvania German collection, The Hershey Story will host the annual Christkindlmarkt Holiday Market & Festival. Twenty-one exhibitors are featured at the festival, including artisans with unique hand-made items that exemplify colonial Pennsylvania craft techniques, traditional German food and activities for kids.

Ice Cream With Santa at Turkey Hill

Celebrate the sweetness of the season and enjoy unlimited ice cream with Santa Claus. All children will have the opportunity to make a special holiday craft as a present for a loved one near or far.

Santa’s Secret Garden at Hershey Gardens

December 7 - 8 and December 14 - 15

During this first-time event, families will be greeted by Santa’s elves as they travel along a path of twinkling lights to discover Santa and his secret winter garden. Visitors can explore Santa’s Greenhouse, visit with Mrs. Claus and make festive take-home crafts.

Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet presents George Balanchine’s The NutcrackerTM

George Balanchine’s timeless yuletide tale is one of Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s signature productions. In an atmosphere charged with holiday spirit, a festive party, magical gift and fanciful dream unfold before your eyes in this most beloved masterpiece.

“Holiday with Dickens” at The Hotel Hershey

This year marks the 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens’ birth, and the Hotel Hershey invites visitors to join them in celebration with an engaging performance of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. There is also an afternoon tea with Gerald Charles Dickens, the

great-great-grandson of the renowned author, who will provide his interpretation of the beloved story.

ZooAmerica’s Wild Winter Adventure

This three-hour program is designed to teach children in grades K – 5 how animals deal with the cold and survive the winter. Young animal lovers will explore the Zoo, get up-close and personal with animal encounters, participate in story time and enjoy a snack.

Hershey Kiss New Year’s Eve Ball Drop

Begin the New Year at the “Sweetest Place on Earth!” This well-known chocolate town pulls out all the stops for its New Year’s Eve in Hershey event. At 11:59 p.m., a Hershey Kiss is raised amongst a sweet-toothed crowd. A midnight fireworks display completes a family friendly night in beautiful downtown Hershey.

Strawberry New Years Eve Ball Drop

The annual New Year’s Eve celebration in Harrisburg hosts a crowd of thousands in the state’s capitol. At 60 seconds before midnight, a giant lit strawberry starts its descent from the top of the downtown Hilton Harrisburg to ring in the New Year. This family-friendly celebration boasts street performers, arts and crafts and a teen celebration, along with musical entertainment.

The Vineyards Holiday Experience
