Harrisburg City Islanders

The City Islanders are celebrating another season in the USL Professional Division.  On August 25, 2007, the City Islanders put the finishing touch on their fourth season by defeating the Richmond Kickers to win the league Championship. In 2011, they reached the USL PRO championship game, but were defeated by the Orlando Lions. The team benefits from a working relationship with the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. Home games are played at Skyline Sports Complex on Harrisburg's City Island, which is also home to the Harrisburg Senators’ Metro Bank Park.

Plans are underway for a new 4500-seat stadium that would be the Islanders’ new home as well as playing host to rugby, lacrosse and live music concerts.
