Hersheypark Tips

There is so much to see and do at Hersheypark, we suggest you do a little recon before you head into Founder’s Circle. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your time at the park.

Map Out Your Day

Download the free Hersheypark App to get a sense of the park’s layout to make the most of your day. Check out the Preview Plan to get a free sneak peek of the park the night before your park day.

Put it in Reverse

Crowds fill the park’s front sections first, so think about heading straight to the back of the park and then work your way back to the front. You can ride more and end your day closer to the entrance!

Don’t Forget Your Suit

Don’t forget about The Boardwalk at Hersheypark! The slides, wave pool, lazy river and more can be a great way to cool off on hot summer days. Lockers are available to store your suits and towels. Get the most out of your Hersheypark experience by spending a day on the rides and reserve a day for the water park. OPEN MEMORIAL DAY TO LABOR DAY.

Music and Dance

Keep an eye out for strolling entertainment throughout the park. You never know when the award-winning Cocoa Rhythm Factory will pound out some very sweet beats!  Song and dance shows are also scheduled at set times and locations throughout the park.  Hersheypark resident shows are a great way to relax a bit or cool off between rides! Show times can be found in the Hersheypark App.

Melted Chocolate is Sad Chocolate

Each visitor to the park passes the entrance to Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction. Take a look around and enjoy the free Great American Chocolate Tour before you head into the rides, but resist the urge to buy the World’s Largest Hershey Bar until after your visit to the park. It won’t fit in a locker and even mildly warm temperatures can cause it to melt if it’s left in the car. Chocolate World is usually open at least until the park closes, and often for another hour past closing time.
