Inspiring and interactive displays show visitors the tale that spans more than 150 years of trials and triumphs, philanthropic endeavors, and one man's unwavering confidence. Learn how he went from bankruptcy to brilliance, transforming chocolate from a luxury to an everyday treat. Inspired by Milton Hershey's flair for experimenting, the Chocolate Lab offers hands-on classes. Enjoy light fare at The Hershey Pantry Cafe and experience a flight of warm drinking chocolates at Countries of Origin Chocolate Tasting. Find a sweet souvenir in the Museum Shop!

Hershey’s oldest freestanding restaurant – a Hershey tradition since 1935!  The menu features the famous DeAngelis sauces and their famous upside-down pizza, plus homemade, Italian dishes of steak, seafood, and pasta. What began as Milton Hershey's request for a small garden of roses is now more than 23 acres of magnificent themed gardens, colorful seasonal displays and the renowned rose garden filled with more than 5,000 rose bushes. The Children’s Garden at Hershey Gardens has 30 playful theme gardens filled with colorful plant life and Educational displays providing hours of fun and learning for the whole family!

New this summer, the Milton and Catherine Conservatory will feature one of only 25 indoor tropical butterfly atriums in the country. The facility will allow Hershey Gardens to remain open year-round. Coming Soon!

They call it "A Palace of Art," and The Pennsylvania State Capitol does not disappoint as a priceless architectural and artistic treasure. Free guided tours of the Capitol are offered every 
half-hour, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Weekends and most holidays, tours 
are offered at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.

Extra Time? Explore Harrisburg.

If your group has time to spare on its final day, walk down the Capitol steps and about a block down the street to browse the shops at Strawberry Square in Downtown Harrisburg. Grab a cup of coffee at Little Amps, or plan for the driver to make a final stop in Midtown and allow for the group to browse Midtown Scholar Bookstore or The Broad Street Market
