Harvest Family Fun

We’ve filled your fall to-do list with sweet, seasonal activities for the whole family! Make your way through the Hershey Harrisburg Region to experience our favorite fall-inspired activities that are equal parts fun, tasty, educational, and adventurous!

Coasters, Costumes & Critters

Sweets, treats, and front-row seats are waiting at Hersheypark in the Dark! Enjoy lights-out coaster rides, a flashlight tour of the creatures ZooAmerica®, and a sweet trick-or-treat adventure with life-sized candy bars—all included in your one-price Hersheypark® admission. Pro tip: try a pumpkin funnel cake, they’re only available once a year!

The Fruits Of Your Labor

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when you pick it right from the branch! Pack up the family and get to picking at Strites Orchard, where you can harvest your own apples and pumpkins. You’ll find nothing but farm-filled family fun at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm. During your visit, don’t forget to check these classic fall favorites off your list: hayrides, hot cider, corn mazes, and homemade pumpkin baked goods! Even your jack-o-lanterns will be smiling after a visit to our region.

Unexpected Autumn Adventures

Fall is the perfect time to venture off the beaten path and try something new in the region! Explore history at the Pennsylvania National Fire Museum and the Pennsylvania State Police Museum, both full of interesting items and sensational stories. The Midtown Scholar Bookstore, one of the nation’s largest independent book dealers, is housed in a cozy, renovated 1920's movie theater and offers thousands of treasures to explore. Afterward, take a drive past the Dauphin Narrows Statue of Liberty, a lady with a mysterious history. She’s proudly perched on an old railroad pier in the middle of the Susquehanna River. Speaking of the river, hop aboard the Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat and feel the crisp autumn air on your cheeks while you take in the beauty of our fall foliage.

We’ve got pumpkins in the patch, the scent of spiced cider in the air, and a full itinerary of family fun waiting for you in Hershey and Harrisburg! Leaf home now and visit us!
