Everyone knows that Santa loves cookies, but he's been known to pick up a Hershey's Chocolate Bar every now again too! We know this because one of the big guy's favorite photo spots is in Hershey's Chocolate World, where they know a thing or two about sweet holiday treats!
Each holiday season, Chocolatetown USA is more like Christmastown USA. Christmas in Hershey promises live reindeer (who knew they loved roller coasters?!), light displays and family rides during Christmas Candylane at Hersheypark. Drive through Hershey Sweet Lights® for a sea of lights dancing to your favorite holiday tunes. Speaking of lights, Koziar's Christmas Village is literally a town all aglow each season, and don't forget that Dutch Wonderland is open for the holiday season with rides and tons of family holiday activities.
The holidays come to life on stage throughout Hershey and Harrisburg. Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet enchants audiences each year with the timeless beauty and wonder of The Nutcracker. Original Christmas shows or adaptations of the classics play out at American Music Theatre, and Fulton Theatre.
Escape the hustle and bustle of the box store holiday rush by spending some time together with some laid-back, old-fashioned fun. Fort Hunter Mansion is dressed up in its holiday best for tours and special events. The kids will be on top of the world when they pick out gifts in the kids only holiday shop. Take it outdoors to Little Buffalo State Park and walk through the Christmas Trail light display. (Select weekends – check the calendar when it gets close!) Catch your favorite classic family holiday movies at Midtown Cinema, where the cozy atmosphere is a welcome change from the crowded mega-theatres.
When it's time to move on to 2017, celebrate with us! New Year's Eve in the square in Hershey brings families together with activities and a musical performance from up-and-coming superstars. Past acts include Disney Channel actress Olivia Holt and pop duo Alex and Sierra. You'll find kid-friendly New Year's Eve activities in Harrisburg too as the city presents its New Year's celebration downtown.
