Fall is the perfect time to venture off the beaten path and try something new in the region! Explore history at the Pennsylvania National Fire Museum and the Pennsylvania State Police Museum, both full of interesting items and sensational stories. The Midtown Scholar Bookstore, one of the nation’s largest independent book dealers, is housed in a cozy, renovated 1920's movie theater and offers thousands of treasures to explore. Afterward, take a drive past the Dauphin Narrows Statue of Liberty, a lady with a mysterious history. She’s proudly perched on an old railroad pier in the middle of the Susquehanna River. Speaking of the river, hop aboard the Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat and feel the crisp autumn air on your cheeks while you take in the beauty of our fall foliage.
