Do you suffer from constant craving? We have so many ordinary desires – more food, more drink, more money, more stimulation, bigger house, better car, different clothes, better reputation – the list is endless. But often when we try to satisfy these desires we are disappointed and become even more dissatisfied – wanting more of the same, or something different! In this course we will learn how to find happiness, contentment, and freedom from uncontrolled desire using Buddha’s time-tested methods.

THE SCHEDULE

  • 1:00pm – 2:30pm: Teaching & Meditation
  • 2:30pm – 2:45pm: Tea Break
  • 2:45pm – 4:00pm: Teaching & Meditation

This course will be taught by Julie Francisco, Resident Teacher of Kalpa Bhadra Kadampa Buddhist Center. Julie has studied and taught Kadampa Buddhism for many years. She shows a clear example of how to be a modern, lay Buddhist practitioner in a busy city, and presents Buddha’s teachings in an eloquent and inspiring manner.
