Highland Games - Volunteers are encouraged to join in the Highland Games Competition. Come toss a sheaf and hurl a caber! Those new to the sport are encouraged to attend the first competition, while veterans are invited to the Tournament of Champions. Waiver sign-ups will begin a half an hour prior to the competition.

Scotch Egg Eating Contest - 6 eggs, 12 contestants. First one who finishes (and keeps them down) wins!

Men in Kilts Competition - Celebrate the ladies two favorite objects: men and the kilts they sport! Great prizes in store, and who knows what else…

Taters for Tots: The Great Potato Race - All wee lads and lasses are invited to grab their spoons, hoist their potatoes high and celebrate the fine Shire tradition of Potato Racing. All participants will receive prizes, including a pet potato that they can call their own! Waiver sign-ups will begin a half an hour prior to the competition.

Royal Dog Days - His Majesty has issued an invitation to the lover of dogs to join him and the Royal Hounds upon the Fairegrounds for the first eight Faire weekends through September 23-24. Visit PaRenFaire.com/DogDays for more information. Please review the Dog Days Decrees and print the Dog Days Admission Pre-Qualification Registration Form and Waiver. Bring these forms to the Dog Days Registration Window at the Front Gate when you visit the Shire with your Royal Hound
