Central Penn College will transform their Capital Blue Cross Theatre’s black box performance space into an art and music-filled gallery on Saturday, January 23, from 5 to 8 PM with a WINTER SOIREE to benefit the Art Association of Harrisburg. Live music by Jonathan Frazier will enhance the ambiance of great art by seven area artists, as well as refreshments and some theatre surprises throughout the evening.

Central Penn College is located at 600 Valley Road in Summerdale. Reservations for the Winter Soiree are $40 in advance and $45 at the door, and may be made online at www.artassocofhbg.com.

Artists to be featured in the Soiree are Romeo Azondekon (mixed media); Alonna Columbo (jewelry); Sarah Davidson, Mary Fox, Dalton James (photography); Andrew Guth (graphics and painting); and Danielle Klebes (oil painting.)

All the artists will be present at the Soiree to discuss their work with attendees, and all the artwork will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the Soiree will benefit the Art Association’s education and exhibition programs.

Musician Jonathan Frazier uses live “looping” to build original pieces of music from his keyboard, Native American flutes, percussion, etc. He also peppers the set with the occasional old standard to return to familiarity and to keep “it all grounded.”

Either visit www.artassocofhbg.com or call 717-236-1432 for reservations for this exciting event which makes a lovely conclusion to the holiday season.
