2017 Tour de Belt

The 16th Annual Tour De Belt is a single loop of the Capital Area Greenbelt, a 20-mile emerald necklace encircling Harrisburg, PA.  Designed during the city beautiful movement in the early 1900's, the Greenbelt is one of the nation's oldest greenways, and has been undergoing decades of restoration and completion efforts. All registration fees and pledges will support the maintenance, stewardship, and protection of the trail. The ride is fully supported, thanks to our generous sponsors and fantastic volunteers. Bike helmets and road ready bikes are required. Participants should be prepared to bike 20 miles on a combination of streets and bike trails, on pavement and crushed stone surfaces.
