“Treasures of the NCWM: The Newest Acquisitions” Previews the NCWM’s Most Recent Additions

The National Civil War Museum has exciting new artifacts and will be presenting them to the public from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with our 2017 version of  “Treasures of the NCWM: The Newest Acquisitions.” Brett Kelley, Museum Curator, will lecture on the significance of the items and how they will complement existing Museum artifacts, both on display and preserved in artifact storage. This presentation will include a display of the NCWM’s newest donations and additions to the Museum collection in our Education Gallery, first floor.  

The 2017 Lessons in History program is free to the public. Regular museum admission applies for entrance to the museum galleries.

About the Presenter: Brett Kelley has been with the Museum full-time since June 2000 and was honorably discharge from the USMC with the rank of Sergeant in 1999.
