Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center - Stage on Herr
The recent hire of Lisa White, longtime talent buyer for Washington D.C.'s 9:30 Club, has already proven a win with big name bands playing Stage on Herr at H*MAC. The newly-renovated Capital Room has an audience capacity of 800 to listen to live music under its vaulted ceilings. Truly a unique space.*
Bringing in big-name acts from Maroon 5 to Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake, Hersheypark Stadium is the place you'll want to be come summer when when the ticket bill boasts headliners like Luke Bryan* and the Dixie Chicks*.
Suba Tapas Bar
Seating is at a premium at this cozy, second-floor tapas bar, where every Friday and Saturday night you can catch incredible talents from local blues professionals to a passing-through Brazilian drummer, each making for an irreplaceable evening of music, great drinks and food, all in the shadow of the state's capitol.
The Abbey Bar at Appalachian Brewing Company
The Abbey Bar is one of the largest concert venues in downtown Harrisburg, and this unique space - housed in the second floor of Appalachian Brewing Company - is getting its groove back. Local and national touring acts have played here, from J. Roddy Waltson and the Business to Rusted Root and from Mike Doughty to the Lumineers.
