The smooth sounds of nationally-acclaimed music artists. The region’s best wines. A gorgeous historic mansion and a long and lazy Susquehanna River as scenic backdrops. Sounds enticing, doesn’t it? Pack your favorite lawn chairs or blankets and join us at the annual Dauphin County Music and Wine Festival at Fort Hunter Park for a spectacular lineup featuring Otis Taylor, Anthony "Big A" Sherrod, Jimmy Pritchard Band and Boogie Wonderland.
And because one day of great music and atmosphere isn't quite enough, this festival runs both Saturday and Sunday, June 13-14. It's a great excuse to build in a weekend getaway and sneak in some other attractions in the Hershey Harrisburg Region.
You'll get to sample the region’s top wineries at the event, but heading out to a winery property is a worthwhile trip to couple with your festival weekend. Click Here to learn more about the wineries of Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country. Many are open for daytime hours on the weekend, so fill out your weekend with an overnight stay and a lunchtime trip to a winery or two before enjoying sips and sounds at the Music & Wine Festival 3pm - 9pm Saturday and Sunday.
Dauphin County Parks and Recreation sponsors a wide variety of programming all year long. Can’t make it to the Music & Wine Festival? The Jazz and Wine Festival in September is a great way to sign off to the summer season! A complete list of DCPR events can be found Here.
