Zeroday Brewing Company
Brandalynn Armstong - Co-Owner
What started out as a hobby evolved into a profession for Zeroday Brewing Company co-owner Brandalynn Armstrong. The beers she creates are just as eclectic as the Midtown neighborhood the brewery calls home. A beer that tastes like Nutella? Dulce Vita Chocolate Hazelnut Sweet Stout. Fruity with a spicy kick? Mango Habanero. Slightly reminiscent of gin? D.T.F. Saison (brewed with an actual 6-foot Douglas Fir!). Stop in, try a flight, or grab a growler (or crowler) to go.
Appalachian Brewing Company
Adam Cole - Brewmaster
Appalachian Brewing Company's (ABC) no bells and whistles approach has kept the brewery thriving through the ever-changing landscape of beer trends. Brewmaster Adam Cole looks for the countertrends. He digs out historical brewing recipes, introduces modern hops, and brews a product that's complex yet approachable. Cole prides himself on mainstream beers everyone can enjoy in a family-centered restaurant environment. With eight staple beers and a rotating selection of new brews, you'll always find something to enjoy at one of ABC's seven locations.
John Trogner - Co-Owner
These days, John Trogner (along with his co-owner/brother Chris) is living a brewer's dream. What started out as a small-scale operation in their house has grown into a brand with national recognition brewed right in Hershey. Years ago, John couldn't imagine a time when someone would order his beer at a bar. Now, he revels in a time when he can brew anything he thinks of. While finds inspiration by traveling the world, he's still very much influenced by local ingredients in Pennsylvania. He likens the flavors of Tröegs to "tasting your backyard." Jeff Musselman - Brewmaster
The combination of art and science drew Jeff Musselman to brewing beer. This aligns perfectly with the Millworks, home to more than 20 artist studios. This Midtown community hub focuses on incorporating Central PA agriculture into all of its menu items, including the beer. Musselman uses local hop and herb suppliers for a uniquely regional flavor. He also takes inspiration from the menu, staff collaboration, and even customer requests. It's hard to find a beer more local than those brewed at Millworks. Grab a pint and peruse the art gallery before, or after, you feast on a fantastic farm-to-table meal.
