Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center
Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center (H*MAC) shines in Midtown Harrisburg as a multi-purpose performance space that combines a historic venue with modern-day arts. H*MAC is as eclectic as the art on the walls. They strive to provide high quality acts across a broad spectrum - rock, jazz, hip-hop, EDM, and even spoken word. Jazzy happy hours in the bar area. Bass-filled chords in the intimate Stage on Herr. Musicals and orchestras upstairs in the Capital Ballroom. At H*MAC, it doesn’t matter who you are, what you look like, or what you’re into – you’ll be welcomed with eats, libations, and beats.
The Abbey Bar
Music comes alive at the Abbey Bar, the second-floor venue located inside Appalachian Brewing Company’s home base. More touring bands circuit through this venue than any other in the Central PA region. The venue is somewhat intimate, and each show packs a crowd. Musicians at The Abbey Bar bring a funky tune with them – jam bands, Celtic rock – the type of music for getting down on the dance floor. The upstairs bar is stocked with everything you need to enjoy a show, including eight ABC original brews you must sample while you’re there. Come for the brewery tour, stay for the music!
Industrial chic best describes the stages at The Mill. The rustic aesthetic of an old feed mill decorates the restaurant with exposed beams, brick walls, and rugged details. And the performers that play The Mill are equally as rustic. Bluesy, folksy, and acoustic - as natural as the farm to table food. During warmer months, get serenaded on the patio as the sun sets. Indoors, music is served up on the third floor, where the original Curry Feed Mill sign provides a one-of-a-kind backdrop for musicians. The Mill in Hershey is a place for no fuss and no frills – natural and authentic food preparations and music that pares perfectly with each course.
