The largest outdoor show in the world sets up camp in Harrisburg, PA for nine days in February at the PA Farm Show Complex & Expo Center. The 2016 Great American Outdoor Show will feature hundreds of the nation's elite vendors for camping, fishing, boating, hunting, firearms and so much more.If you or someone in your family is an outdoor enthusiast, there is simply no place else to be between February 6-14. Product demonstrations, interactive displays, competitions like the 3D Bowhunter or Game Calling challenges, and educational series highlight this massive show that is expected to attract more than 165,000 attendees. The Pennsylvania National Fire Museum is located less than 2 miles from the show, and is a hidden gem among the attractions here. The whole family will enjoy the interactive displays and history. The National Civil War Museum is also just down the road, and tells the story of America's Civil War from both sides of the battle. Brilliant exhibits give visitors insight into soldiers' camps, battle and hunting supplies and their post-war stories.
