Linglestown - 250 Years of History

Paulus Lingel came to Philadelphia from the Palatinate region of Germany around 1737. He had 11 children. One of his seven sons was Thomas Lingle. Through generations of begetting, people today named Lingle, Lengel, and Langle, are linked to their common forebear, Paulus and to the crossroads town that came to be named after Thomas Lingle. Economic Impact Report for Events in Q2 =$20 Million

New economic impact report shows the Top 7 Meetings and Events held in association with HHRVB's sales & client services generated an estimated $20 million for the regional economy and attracted approximately 76,000 people to the region between April – June in 2015 (Q2). Tourism Officials project the economic impact from events this July will beat entire Q2 numbers thanks to Mennonite World Conference & Mecum Auctions.
