HERSHEY, PA - Kids can have fun while still learning this summer at The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue. In addition to a host of events and summer-themed classes in the Chocolate Lab, the roster of activities includes two new events this year: Behind the Scenes Museum Camp and Fabulous Fridays. Details on the camp and summer activities at The Hershey Story Museum are listed below. Summer hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning Friday, June 13, 2014.

Visit the special exhibit, Chocolate Workers Wanted, to participate in a featured daily activity. Rotating activities include hat making, experimenting with molds, hand-coloring “bar cards” and sorting on an actual conveyor built. Activities are included with admission to the special exhibit.
Fabulous Fridays at The Hershey Story
July 11, 18 and 25 and August 1, 8 and 15, 2014
2 – 4 p.m.
Join us on Friday afternoons for free special activities highlighting unique aspects of the The Hershey Story. Fabulous Fridays includes demonstrations and make-and-take activities designed especially for children ages 4 through 10.

Behind the Scenes Museum Camp – NEW!
(Ages 9 to 11)

Kids will learn about the fascinating world of museum work in this week-long camp. Kids will learn first-hand from museum curators and encounter objects and areas of the museum not normally open to the public. Campers will create a mini-exhibit and show it off to family members during a reception at the conclusion of the camp.
